Easter dollhouse miniatures

Are you looking for a fun and creative project to add to your dollhouse collection? In this guide, we'll walk through the steps of creating a delightful miniature bunny-shaped cake using clay and a silicone mold. This adorable addition will bring charm and whimsy to your dollhouse bakery scene or miniature kitchen.

Materials Needed

Step 1: Prepare Your Workstation Gather all your materials and lay them out on a clean and flat surface. Make sure your clay is soft and pliable by kneading it with your hands.

Step 2: Fill the Silicone Mold

Press the softened clay into the bunny-shaped cavity of the silicone mold. Make sure to press firmly to capture all the details of the bunny cake design. Trim any excess clay from the edges of the mold using a craft knife.

If using liquid clay, fill the cavity of mold using the liquid clay from the bottle. Remove any air bubbles using a toothpick.

Step 3: Bake or Air Dry Clay

Follow the instructions on your polymer clay packaging for baking or air-drying. If baking, preheat your oven to the recommended temperature and place your clay creation on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for the specified time and allow it to cool completely before handling.

Step 4: Finishing Touches (Optional) Once your miniature bunny-shaped cake is cooled, you can add additional details with acrylic paint, such as painting the eyes, a nose, or ears for a more realistic look. Seal your creation with gloss varnish for a shiny finish and added durability.

Now that you've completed your dollhouse miniature bunny-shaped cake, place it in your dollhouse bakery or kitchen scene to delight your mini residents and visitors. Enjoy crafting and exploring the world of miniature creations!
